Description
The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) is a national movement that uses a commons-based approach to transform the narrative of the American theatre, to amplify the visibility of Latinx performance making, and to champion equity through advocacy, art making, convening, and scholarship. The LTC is a flagship program of HowlRound. Our values include Service, Radical Inclusion, Transparency, Legacy & Leadership Cultivation, and Advancement of the Art Form. We are a commons (definition: Resources and wealth that we inherit or create together, which must be shared in a sustainable and equitable way). The LTC is managed by a Steering Committee, made up of passionate, articulate, driven Latinx artists and scholars from across the country. By engaging with us, you ARE in the Commons, however if you'd like to step up to help manage, membership in the Steering Committee is open to you, and we'd love to have you join us. Email LTC Producer Jacqueline Flores at jacqueline@howlround.com.
