August 2022 marked our 17th Anniversary. Many of you have been riding right along with us since the beginning, and we are eternally thankful for your loyal support. As we celebrated our Quinceañero two years ago, we felt it was important to reassess and refocus. Despite the loaded times we are all navigating, we feel blessed that they have also offered us clarity.

Two years ago, we reintroduced you to AFROTAINO, our team, our work and share some of the amazing people, projects and expressions that are part of our community. Our mission to deliver the Sights & Sounds of the (Afro-Latinx-Indigenous) Diaspora is stronger than ever.

AFROTAINO continues to steadily expand to serve you, the beautifully diverse audience. Our website is a space to bring attention to not just our own work, but also to spotlight other talented people who shine brightly, flowering from the Diaspora. The branches of the AFROTAINO tree continue to reach new heights & lengths. Our work has expanded into the multimedia landscape with music video/documentary-style series and other projects. And there is a lot more on the way!
